Oh my so the end of another semester is here….yup, you know what that means…lots and lots of work. No matter what I get done it seem like it keeps on coming. There has been something different about this semester for me though…my procrastination has not been as bad as other semesters. What??? you say..Brittany Rohrer working ahead haha…I know I know…What in the world has gotten into me? My stress levels have been moderately low, I know I have lots to do, but I seem to have this understanding that…yes…I will get it done. I have been working on projects early, i have been starting papers early rather than the night before..hmmm…strange…so this is how those other people feel when they get an assignment and finish it early…let me soak it in for the moment…because I don’t know how long this is going to last…ha. Let’s be realistic!

I have realized the benefits of working ahead of time, hopefully this will last!!! Thank you to those people who have taught me what I means to work ahead…we will see if I am saying that this weekend when everything I have to do is due on monday!!!

Here is just a wonderful song to bless you through your next stressful weeks!!

Your Love Never Fails

The World…

The world is full of wonder and beauty. It is full of people. People who are hurting, people who are full of joy. People who love, and people who need love from others. There is beauty in all people. We are more similar than we are different. Although we are similar, the differences in people should be something that is intriguing and an exciting part of life. Conversation is a very powerful tool in life. What is said has a profound impact on a person, and can plant a seed in another person’s life. Do not downplay what words can do. They have the power to destroy, while also having the power to build up.

As I have been able to travel a bit around the world, it has been a blessing to build relationships with people , and even midst the United States, which is quite diverse in itself. While getting to know people from many places and from many different cultures, it has been eye opening as to what this world needs, and what people are searching for.

People are in need….in need of love.

People are such a blessing, and my eyes have been opened to the world and all that it offers. As I traveled in Costa Rica, I was able to stay in a home where we were not able to talk very much to each other, but we communicated through pictures, and motions. They were so generous and hospitable. Although my group was in a very poor part of Costa Rica, this family did not hold back what they had from me…this American. Although we could not necessarily talk, we were able to bless each other, and I was incredibly blessed even though my group and I were the ones there to serve the people in that community.
